Problem Statement

The Zone Field is not properly initialized when Issues get created by JIRA Mail Handler. This may lead to invisible issues or accidental selection of a wrong Zone.

Solution

You can add the Initialize Zone Field from Reporter workflow postfunction to the create transition of your workflow. The postfunction selects a value for a Zone Field according to the reporter of the issue.
